“Welcome to the New World” é o primeiro single de Budda Power Blues em 2023 e marca o 19º ano de vida do Power Trio de Braga.
Fala sobre as portas que se abrem depois deste gigante turbilhão provocado pelo lockdown, pela guerra e pelo poder exacerbado que os média e as redes sociais exercem sobre todos. Mas fala também sobre todas as oportunidades e resoluções que se abrem a cada viragem de ano, na esperança renovada, nos novos planos e intenções.
Musicalmente é um retorno à forma mais crua de Budda Power Blues, retomando as influências do final da década de 60, e do cruzamento de linguagens como o Rock e o Jazz.

“Welcome to the New World” is the first single from Budda Power Blues in 2023 and it marks the 19th birthday of the Power Trio.
It’s about the windows of opportunity that start to open, after this giant turmoil caused by the lockdown, the war and the exacerbated power that the media and social networks exert over everyone. But it also talks about all the opportunities and resolutions that open up at each turn of the year, in renewed hope, in new plans and intentions.
Musically, it is a return to the rawest form of Budda Power Blues, resuming the influences of the late 60’s , and the intersection of languages such as Rock and Jazz.
